Project Administrator
In this role you will support the project team in tracking the status of project deliverables and milestones, supporting the project managers to achieve critical milestones and outcomes.
Responsibilities or Duties
- Keeping Project Records:
- Write down and update things like possible problems, what we assume, and any issues or things we depend on, as told by the - - -- project manager. - Tracking Money and Making Plans:
- Keep an eye on how much money is used for the project and help make plans on how much we think it will cost. - Watching Money and Reporting:
- Check to make sure we don't spend more money than we planned for the project.
- Tell everyone how much money is being used in reports. - Organizing Project Details:
- Keep the plan for the project in order, track what needs to be done, and write down any risks or issues. - Helping the Project Succeed:
- Support the project so that everything we create meets the rules and follows the plan agreed on. - Working Well with Others:
- Be friendly and work well with everyone involved in the project from different parts of the business. - Taking Notes and Keeping Track:
- Write down what happens in important project meetings and make sure everyone knows what they need to do next.
Skills required
- Ideally knowledge of a change management framework
- Strong organisational skills
- Good time management skills
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate in various styles for maximum impact and accuracy
- Competent in Microsoft applications: including Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel
Industry qualifications
- Project Management qualification (desirable but not essential)
