We are Porters —an exciting new chapter inspired by the success of The Lodge at Glen Helen.  Renowned for our irresistible burgers, we’re thrilled to bring the magic to a brand-new location in Douglas.

As a specialty burger and café takeaway, we’re all about delivering beautifully crafted gourmet burgers, exceptional coffee, and fabulous milkshakes, all served with a generous helping of extraordinary customer service. Our mission is simple: to delight every customer with mouth watering flavours, positive vibes, and outstanding hospitality.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for dynamic, friendly, and customer-focused Front of House team members who share our passion for great food and exceptional service. You’ll be the face of our takeaway, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.

Your Role:

·      Greet customers warmly
·      Take customer orders and handle queries and feedback with professionalism
·      Manage the takeaway counter with energy and efficiency
·      Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and inviting
·      Make our gourmet milkshakes & coffees

What You Bring:

·      A friendly, approachable personality with a can-do attitude
·      A passion for customer service and making people happy
·      Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
·      A team-player mind set with a willingness to learn and adapt
·      Previous experience in hospitality is a bonus but not essential – we value enthusiasm and drive!
