Role Overview: Lunchtime Assistants supervise and support pupils during lunch breaks, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment in the dining area and playground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring good manners and safe play.
- Assist with minor incidents and provide first aid if needed.
- Support positive interactions and behavior among pupils.
- Act as a point of contact between pupils and teaching staff.
- Encourage children to eat their meals and engage in constructive play.
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and students.
Essential Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, caring, and approachable nature.
- Ability to encourage and promote positive play and behavior.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience working with children (not required but beneficial).
- First aid knowledge.
