Job Purpose: Enforcing parking regulations, offering public guidance, and supporting division teams.
Primary Duties:
- Enforcement & Public Interaction
- Resolve parking-related issues with the public and communities.
- Patrol streets and monitor compliance with parking restrictions.
- Issue parking tickets and advisory notices.
- Collaborate with partner agencies for road safety and compliance improvements
Operational Support:
- Assist in vehicle removal/storage activities.
- Train new parking control staff.
- Follow instructions via radio control and adhere to operational standards.
- Liaise with government departments and enforcement agencies for highway management.
- Service Delivery
- Ensure timely and accurate ticket issuance.
- Monitor and address parking concerns.
- Support administrative and financial operations.
- Provide advice to the public and line managers.
- Promote and support new procedures or policies.
- Implement and maintain parking enforcement policies.
- Maintain personal and public safety, identifying and reporting risks
Person Specification:
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English) or equivalent.
Experience: Public-facing roles, legislative/policy work, or parking enforcement (desirable).
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational abilities, customer service.
Attributes: Resilient, reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
Requirements: Valid driving licence and satisfactory police check.
